Tater Tot Casserole Recipe
Description
This casserole begins by browning ground beef seasoned with Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, and black pepper. Excess grease is drained before mixing in condensed cream of mushroom and chicken soups, sour cream, drained green beans and corn, and half of the shredded Colby jack cheese. This mixture is spread in a baking dish and covered evenly with frozen tater tots.
The casserole is baked until the tater tots develop a golden-brown crust and the filling is hot and bubbly, typically about 40 to 45 minutes. Additional shredded cheese is sprinkled on top near the end of baking and melted to add richness. Freshly chopped parsley is sprinkled on as a finishing touch to provide color and a mild fresh note.
The recipe yields a textured, creamy interior under a crispy and cheesy potato topping. The blend of vegetables and spices enhances flavor and creates a balanced, approachable casserole ideal for casual family meals.
