Thanksgiving Turkey Meatloaf
Description
This recipe uses lean ground turkey mixed with dried stuffing mix, whisked eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh minced sage, thyme, and rosemary. These ingredients combine to add moisture, binding, and warm herbaceous notes characteristic of Thanksgiving flavors.
The mixture is shaped into a loaf on a lined baking sheet and baked initially, then topped with cranberry sauce halfway through baking to create a contrasting sweet and tart glaze. The meatloaf is baked until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F, ensuring it’s fully cooked and safe to eat.
The combination of savory turkey loin-style meat with classic stuffing seasoning and the berry tang of cranberry sauce offers a comforting dish reminiscent of Thanksgiving dinner in a portable form. Leftover cranberry sauce can be served alongside for additional flavor bursts.
Using 93/7 ground turkey maintains a lean but tender texture, and the addition of stuffing mix helps retain moisture and flavor without needing extra bread or filler ingredients.
