The Best and Easiest Homemade Peanut Butter

Homemade peanut butter roasted from unsalted peanuts offers a creamy spread with a natural nutty flavor and customizable salt level. The peanuts are lightly roasted at low heat to enhance aroma without burning. Then they are blended into a smooth mixture that can be adjusted by adding salt to taste. This method produces fresh peanut butter with no additives, perfect for sandwiches, baking, or snacking.

Description

This homemade peanut butter recipe uses unsalted, roasted peanuts to create a smooth, creamy spread. The peanuts are roasted gently at 250°F until fragrant and slightly darker to bring out natural oils and deepen flavor. After roasting, the peanuts are processed in a food processor for several minutes until they transform into a thick, creamy butter.

The amount of salt added is flexible, allowing control over the savoriness. The blending process ensures even texture without added sugars or stabilizers. This straightforward approach lets the natural peanut taste shine through in a fresh, preservative-free butter.

The peanut butter can be stored in a jar in the refrigerator for freshness. This recipe suits those who prefer homemade spreads with simple ingredients and complete control over flavor and texture.
