Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degress.
  2. Pat turkey dry with paper towels.
  3. Generously rub turkey breast with softened butter - rub butter all around turkey, and carefully lift up skin to rub butter under turkey skin, too.
  4. Stuff turkey breast cavity with aromatics.
  5. Add chicken stock to the bottom of roasting pan.
  6. Coat turkey breast with herbs and spices.
  7. Place turkey on metal rack in roasting pan or over a baking sheet.
  8. Tent turkey loosely with foil for first 30 minutes of roasting time.
