The shrimp cook quickly in a bright, buttery, and slightly spicy sauce that coats each piece evenly. It is versatile for serving over pasta, rice, or vegetables.

Description

The recipe begins by heating olive oil until shimmering and adding shrimp seasoned with salt to taste, allowing even cooking without overcooking. Fresh garlic and cubed butter are added and stirred to melt, creating a fragrant garlic butter sauce. Lemon slices and chili sauce provide fresh acidity and mild heat, adding brightness and complexity to the buttery base. The shrimp are tossed gently to evenly coat them with the sauce, maintaining tenderness and preventing toughness.

Cooked until just opaque, the shrimp are removed immediately from heat to avoid overcooking. This maintains a juicy texture. The dish’s simplicity relies on fresh ingredients and balanced flavors. It pairs well with pasta, rice, or steamed vegetables, making it a convenient meal or appetizer option for those who enjoy seafood with citrus and mild spice.
