The Best Oven Baked Ribs Recipe
Description
This recipe prepares about 12 pork ribs rubbed evenly with a spice mixture combining garlic powder, seasoned salt, oregano, cumin, and brown sugar to enhance both savory and sweet notes. The ribs are baked at a low temperature (250°F) for 2-3 hours while periodically basted with a mop mixture of apple cider vinegar and light beer. This adds moisture and subtle tang while the low heat slowly tenderizes the meat.
After the ribs are tender and the meat starts to pull away from the bone, barbecue sauce is applied and the oven temperature is increased to 350°F. The ribs are basted several times more to build a thick, flavorful glaze. The final result is ribs with a tender texture, well-developed seasoning, and a glossy, sticky finish.
The ribs should be served immediately to enjoy the full texture and flavors.
