The Best Protein French Toast Sticks!
Description
This recipe uses thick brioche slices cut into sticks approximately one inch wide. The egg mixture includes whole eggs, egg whites, almond milk, vanilla protein powder, vanilla extract, stevia, and cinnamon, creating a flavorful, protein-enriched dip that coats each bread stick. Cooking on a lightly sprayed skillet over medium heat ensures even browning without excess oil.
The finished French toast sticks have a soft, custardy center and lightly crisp exterior. Powdered sugar adds a touch of sweetness, and fresh blueberries and strawberries provide freshness and color. Maple syrup for dipping complements the mild cinnamon and vanilla flavors. Turkey sausage patties offer a savory side to balance the meal.
This recipe offers flexibility for dietary needs by substituting gluten-free bread or dairy-free protein powder as needed.
