Three Cheese Chicken Alfredo Bake
Description
This casserole begins by boiling penne pasta until al dente, then mixing it with two jars of Alfredo sauce, creamy ricotta, sour cream, and minced garlic for a rich base. Cooked, chopped chicken adds protein and heartiness. Dried Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese provide savory, herbal notes throughout the dish.
The mixture is transferred to a greased baking dish and topped with a generous layer of shredded mozzarella cheese. Baking at 350°F for 30 minutes melts the cheese topping and heats the filling through, resulting in a creamy, cheesy bake with melted mozzarella on top and tender pasta underneath.
This dish serves eight, with a thick and satisfying texture ideal for family meals or casual gatherings. It pairs well with a green salad or vegetable side to balance the richness.
Note that the recipe yields approximately eight servings and includes nutrition details per serving. Adjust the amount of Alfredo sauce to personal preference, with the option to reserve some sauce for other uses.
