TikTok Chicken Cobbler Recipe
Description
This recipe starts by spreading melted butter in a 9x13-inch baking pan, onto which shredded cooked chicken and frozen vegetables are layered. A prepared cheddar bay biscuit mix combined with milk is poured over the chicken and veggies without stirring, forming a biscuit topping that bakes into a soft, golden crust.
A separate mixture of cream of chicken soup and chicken broth is poured over the biscuit layer, adding moisture and richness that seeps down during baking. The casserole is baked at 400 degrees for about 45 minutes until the biscuit crust is golden brown.
Once removed from the oven, the cobbler rests to allow the layers to set. Brushing the topping with a butter and biscuit seasoning mix can enhance flavor during the resting period. The resulting dish is creamy inside with a buttery, crisp topping, offering a hearty meal that combines protein, vegetables, and biscuits in one pan.
Variations and seasonings can be added to suit personal taste. This recipe leverages convenience ingredients like biscuit mix and soup, making it approachable for home cooks seeking a filling, comforting meal.
