Tony Roma’s Sweet & Tangy Coleslaw Recipe
Description
Tony Roma’s Sweet & Tangy Coleslaw Recipe features finely shredded half a head of cabbage and half a large carrot mixed into a dressing composed of mayonnaise, white vinegar, lemon juice, and sugar. The addition of parsley, onion, celery seed, white pepper, and salt rounds out the dressing with subtle aromatic notes and mild spice. The coleslaw is prepared by whisking dressing ingredients until well blended, then combining with the vegetables and refrigerating for at least two hours to marry flavors.
The result is a creamy, slightly tangy slaw with a balanced sweetness that complements the natural crunch of the cabbage and carrot. This preparation makes a good complement to barbecued chicken, ribs, or sandwiches where a cool, crisp contrast is desired.
For best flavor, the dressing should be made the night before, giving time for the ingredients to meld. Just before serving, the coleslaw is stirred again to ensure even coating. The recipe yields enough for several servings and can be stored chilled until ready to use.

- 1/2 carrot shredded, large
Instructions

- Mix together again just before serving.
Notes
