Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake
Description
Triple Chocolate Bundt Cake uses a combination of flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda and powder, and salt to create a well-balanced chocolate base. Wet ingredients include buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, vanilla, and hot coffee which deepens the chocolate flavor and contributes moisture for a tender crumb.
The batter is baked in a greased bundt pan then topped with a ganache made by melting dark chocolate with heavy cream, resulting in a glossy, rich finish. Additional chocolate chips adorn the cake for texture contrast. The coffee infusion intensifies the chocolate notes without a coffee flavor overpowering the cake.
This cake suits special dessert occasions and pairs well with whipped cream or fresh berries. Cooling completely before adding ganache is important to prevent it from sliding off. Adjusting serving sizes is straightforward thanks to the recipe’s scaling directions.
The recipe is adapted from Ina Garten and provides options to convert measurements to grams, supporting precise baking.
