Tropical fruit salad
Description
This fruit salad features peeled, cored, and diced papaya and pineapple, along with peeled and diced bananas. These fruits are mixed in a large bowl and combined with about 4 ½ cups of freshly squeezed orange juice, which adds bright acidity and sweetness. Additional sugar or honey can be added depending on the desired sweetness.
The salad can be served immediately for a fresh, juicy texture or chilled for about 30 minutes to enhance its cold refreshing quality, especially suitable for warm weather. Variations can include adding other fruits like mango, watermelon, or berries, or substituting or blending the orange juice with passion fruit juice for different flavor notes.
Ingredients
- 10 orange juiced, about 4 ½ cups of juice
- 1 papaya peeled, seeded and diced, large
- 1 pineapple peeled, cored and diced
- 6 banana peeled and diced
- sugar or honey to taste

Instructions

- Mix in the freshly squeezed orange juice, add sugar or honey if needed.

Notes
- Additional fruits such as mango, watermelon, or berries can be added to customize the salad.
- You may substitute or mix orange juice with passion fruit juice for a different tropical flavor.
