Tuna Pasta Salad
Description
This Tuna Pasta Salad uses canned albacore tuna mixed with capers for a salty, briny accent. The pasta is whole wheat, offering a slightly nutty taste and chewy texture that contrasts with the crisp, peppery leaves of fresh arugula. The dressing is straightforward, with olive oil and red wine vinegar providing brightness and moisture without overpowering the natural flavors.
The salad is tossed gently to keep the arugula fresh and the tuna flaked evenly. Shaved Parmesan sprinkles on top add a subtle savory sharpness and creamy texture as a finishing touch. Ground black pepper gives mild heat throughout.
This salad works well as a quick, light meal on its own or paired with a crisp vegetable side. It offers balanced flavors and a pleasant mix of textures from tender pasta to fresh greens and flaky fish.
