Tuna Salad
Description
The Tuna Salad uses drained canned tuna mixed with plain Greek yogurt and optional mayonnaise to create a creamy base. Chopped celery, red onion, and dill pickles add crispness and flavor contrast, while Dijon mustard and chopped parsley contribute a savory and fresh note. The salad is seasoned simply with salt and black pepper. The ingredients are tossed together gently to break up large tuna chunks while maintaining texture. Chilling the salad enhances the flavors. It offers a balanced combination of creamy, tangy, and crunchy elements for a satisfying light meal or snack.
The salad can be served in multiple ways: as a spread on bread or wraps for sandwiches, over a bed of fresh greens for a light lunch, or alongside crackers as an appetizer. The mixture keeps well in an airtight container in the refrigerator, making it practical for meal prep or leftovers throughout the week.
