Ingredients

  • 4 lices Wheat bread
  • ¼ c cheddar cheese shredded (or 2-4 slices
  • 4 lices turkey deli style
  • 1 small tomato sliced
  • ½ avocado sliced

Instructions

  1. Layer the cheese on two slices of bread.
  2. Place both slices in a toaster oven or on a baking sheet in an oven under the broiler. Toast for 3-5 minutes, until the cheese starts to melt.
  3. Remove the cheese bread from the heat and layer on the turkey, tomato, and avocado. Return the sandwiches to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes, until everything is heated through.
  4. Top each sandwich with a second slice of bread and return to toaster oven or oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, until top bread is nice and toasted.
  5. Remove sandwich, cut in half (because everything tastes better that way) and enjoy while warm!
