Turkey Gravy Without Drippings Recipe
Description
Turkey Gravy Without Drippings Recipe combines melted butter and flour to create a roux, which thickens the turkey broth into a creamy gravy. Salt and black pepper season the gravy, allowing the natural broth flavors to shine without the need for pan drippings. Cooking the roux briefly before adding broth ensures a smooth texture without lumps.
The resulting gravy has a well-balanced savory taste and smooth consistency that complements roasted turkey or mashed potatoes. The texture is moderately thick, ideal for pouring over meat or sides.
Serve this gravy warm alongside your turkey and side dishes to add moistness and flavor. It is especially useful when turkey drippings are scarce or when a milder gravy is preferred.
