Enjoy a festive Turkey Grilled Cheese this Christmas. Golden toasted bread with turkey, cranberry sauce & gooey melted Brie - the best of Christmas eating!

Ingredients

  • 2 lice bread
  • 20 g butter
  • 20 g mozzarella sliced
  • 30 g brie
  • 50 g cooked turkey sliced
  • 2 tablespoon cranberry sauce

Instructions

  1. Spread 20 g Butter over one side of each of the 2 slice Bread.
  2. Flip on slice of the bread over. Add 20 g Mozzarella, 50 g Cooked turkey, 30 g Brie and 2 tablespoon Cranberry sauce to the unbuttered side.
  3. Add the second slice of buttered bread, butter side up.
  4. Heat a frying pan (no oil) and cook the sandwich on for about 2 minutes on each side.

Notes

  • Remember to put the buttered side of the bread on the outside of the turkey toastie. This is what needs to touch the pan so it gets nice and golden when cooked.
  • If you find that your cheese isn't melting very well, you can add a tiny splash of water to the pan and put a lid on it and let it melt.
  • To make these gluten free, use your favourite brand of gluten free bread. Just be aware that it doesn't hold together as well.
