Turkey Lettuce Wrap

Turkey Lettuce Wraps feature ground turkey sautéed with onion, garlic, and bell pepper, seasoned with chili powder, salt, and black pepper. The mixture is spooned into crisp lettuce leaves and topped with diced avocado and fresh herbs. These wraps offer a light, fresh alternative to heavier sandwiches, combining savory turkey filling with cool, creamy avocado.

Description

This recipe sautés diced onion in olive oil until translucent, then adds ground turkey which is cooked and crumbled while mixing in garlic, diced bell pepper, chili powder, salt, and black pepper to season the savory filling. The bell pepper adds texture and sweetness, while the chili powder brings mild heat and depth.

The cooked turkey mixture is served on fresh lettuce leaves, which provide a crisp, refreshing vessel in place of traditional wraps or bread. Topping with diced avocado introduces creaminess and richness, balancing the spices and enhancing mouthfeel. Fresh herbs finish the dish with a bright note.

These lettuce wraps can be served as an appetizer, light lunch, or dinner. They are a handheld dish that embraces fresh and savory ingredients with simple preparation.
