Turkey Salad Sandwich
Description
This simple turkey salad blends the savory strands of turkey with crunchy celery and mild shallots for texture contrast. Greek yogurt and Dijon mustard create a smooth, tangy dressing balanced by lemon's brightness. Adding dried cranberries introduces bursts of sweetness and a chewy texture, while parsley offers a fresh finish. The salad is spooned into dinner rolls and complemented by lettuce for added crispness, resulting in a well-rounded sandwich.
The recipe makes multiple servings, ideal for packed lunches or casual meals. The turkey salad can be prepared ahead and refrigerated to allow flavors to meld.
Portioning two sandwiches per serving provides a satisfying meal size. Using fresh ingredients and properly seasoned dressing helps balance flavor complexity without being overwhelming.
