Turkey Soup Recipe

Turkey Soup Recipe is a comforting broth-based soup made with cooked turkey, vegetables, and seasonings, combined with egg noodles. The soup has a savory broth enriched with herbs and fresh vegetables, accented by tender chunks of turkey and soft noodles. It can be cooked on stovetop or in a slow cooker for convenience.

Description

This turkey soup starts by sautéing butter, celery, carrots, and garlic to develop mild aromatic flavors. Chicken and vegetable broths are added along with cooked turkey and dried herbs like basil and oregano. After bringing the soup to a boil, egg noodles are added and simmered until tender, yielding a hearty and satisfying meal.

The combination of broths and turkey creates a rich, layered flavor, while the vegetables contribute texture and sweetness. The egg noodles soften in the broth, absorbing flavors and making the soup more filling.

The recipe includes slow cooker instructions for convenience: all ingredients except noodles can be cooked on low or high heat for several hours, with noodles added near the end. This makes it suitable for hands-off preparation. Seasoning can be adjusted to taste before serving.
