Turkish White Bean Salad

Turkish White Bean Salad combines tender cannellini beans with diced tomatoes, crisp red onion, and fresh parsley, dressed in a mix of sumac, Aleppo pepper, lemon juice, and olive oil. The salad is chilled to meld the tangy and mildly spicy flavors, making it a refreshing side that balances rich grilled or roasted dishes.

Description

This salad uses drained cannellini beans as the base, which bring a creamy texture and mild flavor. Fresh tomatoes and thinly sliced red onion add brightness and crunch, while chopped parsley introduces herbal freshness.

The dressing of sumac and Aleppo pepper provides a lemony tartness and a mild warmth, complemented by lemon juice and olive oil that create a light, zesty coating. After tossing and refrigerating, the flavors blend, and the salad serves cool as a crisp, tangy accompaniment.

Turkish White Bean Salad pairs well with grilled meat or vegetable dishes such as shish kebabs or karniyarik. Serving it within a few hours preserves the fresh textures and vibrant flavors, making it a practical salad for a side dish or light meal.
