Turmeric Smoothie Recipes
Description
The Turmeric Smoothie Recipes include three variations that integrate ground turmeric with complementary fruits and vegetables. The Spinach Turmeric Smoothie blends baby spinach, pineapple, almond or coconut milk, water, flaxseed, black pepper, and coconut oil. The Mango Turmeric Smoothie combines mango, pineapple, shredded coconut, coconut water, chia seeds, black pepper, and coconut oil. The Turmeric Ginger Smoothie features carrots, oranges, grated fresh ginger, coconut water, black pepper, and coconut oil.
Each recipe calls for blending all ingredients until smooth, producing vibrant drinks that incorporate turmeric’s earthy flavor balanced by sweet fruits and aromatic spices. The inclusion of black pepper and coconut oil aids in absorption of turmeric compounds. The liquids provide a creamy or light base depending on choice of milk or coconut water.
These smoothies suit health-conscious drinkers looking to include turmeric in their diet while enjoying fresh and varied tastes. They can be consumed immediately to retain freshness.
Ice can be added in warmer months to chill and enhance refreshment. Smoothies may be prepared ahead and stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, with shaking recommended before drinking as ingredients may settle.
