  • 2 cups chicken shredded, cooked
  • 12 ounces egg noodles cooked to al dente, wide
  • 1 1/2 cups corn frozen
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup 10 oz cans
  • 1/2 onion diced
  • 1 Tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 6 Bacon cooked and crumbled, strips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9X13 baking pan with a non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the milk and cream of chicken soup.  Then stir in the chicken, pasta, corn, onion, garlic, bacon, cheddar cheese, salt and pepper.
  3. Spread this mixture evenly into the baking pan and top the mixture with the French fried onions.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven.  Let the casserole set for 5 minutes.  Then serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • For make-ahead, assemble the casserole minus the French fried onions and refrigerate.
  • Add French fried onions just before baking to keep them crisp.
  • Allow the casserole to come to room temperature before baking for even cooking.
