Ultimate Dorito Taco Salad Recipe

This salad layers seasoned ground beef over chopped romaine tossed in Catalina dressing, then adds beans, olives, tomatoes, green onions, avocado, shredded cheddar, and a topping of ranch-seasoned sour cream. Crushed Nacho Cheese Doritos provide a crunchy contrast, blending Tex-Mex flavors and creamy textures in a colorful salad.

Description

The Ultimate Dorito Taco Salad combines seasoned ground beef cooked with taco seasoning with a fresh chopped romaine base dressed in Catalina dressing. It is topped with kidney beans, black olives, grape tomatoes, green onions, sliced avocado, and shredded cheddar cheese for a variety of textures and flavors. The finishing touch comes from crushing Nacho Cheese Doritos over the salad. A combination of sour cream mixed with ranch dip mix is chilled and added on top, adding a cool, creamy element that complements the spiced beef and crunchy chips. This layered presentation creates a hearty taco-inspired salad ideal for casual meals.
