Ingredients
- 1,5 kg potatoes
- ½ cup plant-based milk
- 50 g vegan butter
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Chives to garnish
- salt
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium-sized pieces.
- Add the cut potatoes into a large pot. Fill the pot with salted water and bring to a boil. Cook the potatoes until completely soft.
- Drain the water, and let the potatoes dry off for about 1 or 2 minutes.
- Place the potatoes back in the pot and add the vegan butter, plant-based milk, and ground nutmeg. Add salt to taste.
- Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes until you have a smooth and creamy mixture.
- Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with some fresh herbs and serve.
