Vegan Peanut Butter Cup Shake

The Vegan Peanut Butter Cup Shake blends peanut butter, chia seeds, Medjool dates, raw cacao, and vanilla into a creamy, plant-based beverage. Chia seeds add thickness and subtle texture once blended, while the natural sweetness from the dates balances the rich chocolate and peanut flavors. Ice contributes to a cold, refreshing finish. This shake offers a satisfying dairy-free treat that comes together quickly with minimal ingredients.

Description

This shake uses water as the liquid base combined with chia seeds and soft Medjool dates for natural sweetness and texture. Peanut butter brings richness, complemented by raw cacao powder and vanilla extract. Blending these ingredients until smooth before adding ice ensures the chia seeds break down evenly, creating a thick, creamy consistency. The addition of ice cubes chills the shake while maintaining its smooth texture.

The flavor profile includes the nuttiness of peanut butter balanced with bittersweet chocolate from the cacao powder and subtle vanilla notes. Sea salt can be added if the peanut butter is unsalted, enhancing overall flavor. It serves as a refreshing, indulgent vegan beverage suitable for a snack or dessert.

For easier blending without a high-speed blender, soaking chia seeds and dates in water beforehand softens them and improves processing.
