Vegan Tzatziki Recipe

This Vegan Tzatziki Recipe transforms cashews soaked overnight into a creamy base blended with lemon juice and garlic, then combined with shredded cucumber, dill, and sea salt. The result is a refreshing plant-based sauce with a smooth texture and bright, herby flavor, suitable as a dip or condiment in vegan cuisine.

Description

The Vegan Tzatziki recipe starts with raw cashews soaked for several hours until soft, then blended with water, fresh lemon juice, and garlic to form a creamy, dairy-free base. Fresh cucumber is peeled, shredded, and drained to remove excess moisture before being stirred into the cashew blend with chopped dill and sea salt. The mixture is chilled for half an hour, allowing it to thicken slightly and for flavors to meld. This plant-based alternative to traditional tzatziki offers a tangy, herb-infused sauce that maintains the refreshing qualities of the cucumber and dill while providing a smooth, rich texture from the cashews. It can be served alongside dishes requiring a creamy sauce or as a dressing or dip in vegan meals.
