Very Best Sloppy Joe Recipe
Description
The Very Best Sloppy Joe Recipe starts by preparing a sauce blending ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and yellow mustard. Ground beef cooks in oil until browned and broken into small pieces. Chopped onions sauté with the beef until translucent, then minced garlic is added briefly before lowering the heat. The sauce is mixed in and the filling simmers for 10 minutes, thickening and melding flavors.
While cooking, hamburger buns are toasted to provide a slightly crisp exterior to hold the moist beef mixture. The saucy beef is spooned generously into buns for a handheld savory sandwich with a slightly sweet, tangy sauce. This combination offers an appealing textural contrast between soft beef and toasted bread.
