Wild Blueberry Muffin Smoothie

This Wild Blueberry Muffin Smoothie blends frozen blueberries and sweet dates with Greek yogurt and oats to create a thick and wholesome drink reminiscent of a muffin. Flaxseed meal and hemp hearts add texture and nutritional value, while vanilla and optional extracts enrich the flavor. The smoothie serves as a filling snack or light breakfast with familiar berry and cinnamon notes.

Description

The Wild Blueberry Muffin Smoothie incorporates frozen wild blueberries and softened Medjool dates for natural sweetness and fruity flavor. Vanilla-flavored Greek yogurt contributes creaminess and tang, while rolled oats help thicken and provide a subtle oat flavor akin to a muffin crumb. Flaxseed meal and hemp hearts offer mild nuttiness and texture, enhancing the smoothie’s body.

Vanilla extract is complemented by optional almond extract, cinnamon, or lemon zest to tailor the flavor profile. Blended with oat milk or other plant-based alternatives, this smoothie achieves a drinkable yet substantial consistency. It serves one but can be doubled as needed.

Soaking the dates in warm water softens them for easier blending and smoother texture. Adding protein powder is optional for extra sustenance, making this smoothie suitable for a quick nutritious start or on-the-go snack.
