This Winter Fruit Salad blends pineapple chunks, peeled and sliced kiwi, mandarin or clementine segments, and pomegranate arils. Tossed with a bright dressing made from lemon juice, honey, and poppy seeds, it offers a balance of sweet, tart, and subtly nutty flavors. The optional fresh mint garnish adds a refreshing hint, making this salad a vibrant and palate-cleansing addition to winter meals or desserts.

Description

Winter Fruit Salad features a mixture of tropical and seasonal fruits: pineapple, kiwi, mandarin orange or clementine segments, and pomegranate arils. This combination offers a range of textures, from juicy and firm pineapple to the soft, citrusy mandarin segments, balanced by the slight crunch from pomegranate seeds.

The dressing is a simple mix of fresh lemon juice, honey for sweetness, and poppy seeds which provide a mild nutty texture and appearance. Tossing the fruit gently in this dressing coats each piece lightly without overwhelming their natural flavors. Optional fresh mint leaves serve as a bright garnish, enhancing the salad's fresh profile.

This salad is best served chilled and can complement a variety of meals as a refreshing side or light finish. It introduces vibrant colors and fresh tastes to brighten winter menus.
