Yogurt Smoothie

This strawberry yogurt smoothie is a delicious way to kick-start your day. Made with yogurt and frozen fruit, it comes together in just minutes!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt (see notes)
  • 1 cup strawberry with no added sugar, frozen
  • ½ banana sliced, frozen
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds ground
  • ¾ cup milk of choice

Instructions

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine the yogurt, strawberries, banana, ground flax seeds, and milk. Secure the lid and blend until smooth.
  2. Stop and scrape down the sides of the blender, if needed. Once the smoothie has no visible chunks, give it a taste and make any adjustments, as needed. You can add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, for sweetness, or add a handful of ice for a slushy texture.
  3. Serve the smoothie immediately for the best flavor and texture. If you have any leftovers, pour them into a popsicle mold and freeze them for a frozen treat in the future.
