Ingredients

  • 500 grams yu choy
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2-3 cloves garlic roughly chopped
  • tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce low sodium
  • ½ tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Wash the yu choy thoroughly to remove any dirt or debris.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat up the oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the garlic and stir until the garlic is fragrant. About 2 minutes. Then, add the soy sauce, sesame oil, and oyster sauce. Stir to combine and once it has come up to a boil, remove it from the heat and set aside.
  3. Meanwhile, bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Then, add the yu choy to the water and blanch for 2 minutes. Drain and place the choy on a serving platter or large plate.
  4. Drizzle the sauce over the yu choy and gently toss to combine. Serve immediately.
