3 Ingredient Oven Roasted Potatoes
Description
3 Ingredient Oven Roasted Potatoes are made by coating bite-sized chunks of potatoes with cooking oil and seasoning them with a packaged onion soup mix. The roasting process at 400 degrees Fahrenheit caramelizes the surface of the potatoes, creating a flavorful crust while keeping the interior soft. This method relies on simple pantry staples to create a savory and slightly tangy side that complements a variety of main dishes. Red potatoes provide a firm texture that holds well during roasting.
The potatoes are tossed with oil to ensure even browning and then baked in a single layer on a baking sheet, which helps achieve a crisp finish. The onion soup mix adds depth of flavor through its blend of dehydrated onion and seasonings. This recipe can be easily adjusted for larger servings by adding more potatoes, with seasoning amounts scaled accordingly for best balance.
Serving these potatoes hot straight from the oven preserves their texture and taste. They pair well with roasted meats, grilled chicken, or a fresh salad, adding a comforting and seasoned vegetable side.
For feeding more than six people, doubling the entire recipe is recommended to maintain proportions. Adding extra potatoes without increasing seasonings may result in less pronounced flavor.
