90 Second Keto Bread
Description
The recipe blends almond flour, an egg, baking powder, salt, and melted butter into a batter which is microwaved for 90 seconds, quickly turning it into a small bread loaf. The use of almond flour and absence of flour makes it suitable for keto diets. The bread has a soft texture from the egg and almond flour combination, with a slight rise from baking powder. After microwaving, letting it cool slightly allows it to set before slicing.
For enhanced texture and flavor, the bread can be sliced and then fried on both sides in butter to create a crispy crust while maintaining a tender center. This bread can be used as a base for various keto-friendly toppings or recipes that normally use bread.
The recipe notes suggest optional additions like shredded cheese or garlic powder to alter the flavor profile. This basic keto bread can be prepared quickly in single servings, suitable for those needing low-carb bread alternatives.
