Air Fryer Bread

This Air Fryer Bread is a simple yeast bread made with basic pantry ingredients including butter, active dry yeast, sugar, salt, and all-purpose flour. The dough is kneaded thoroughly in a mixer, allowed to rise until doubled, and then baked in a buttered pan inside an air fryer. The result is a loaf with a dark brown crust and a soft interior reached by an internal temperature of 200°F. This method provides a convenient way to bake bread without an oven.

Description

Air Fryer Bread uses melted butter, yeast, sugar, salt, and flour to create a classic yeast bread dough. The dough is mixed with warm water and kneaded well in a stand mixer before being placed into a buttered round baking pan. After rising in a warm dry place for about an hour, it is cooked at 380°F in the air fryer for roughly 20 to 25 minutes, yielding a loaf with a nicely browned crust. The bread is cooled briefly in the pan before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

The texture of this bread should be soft inside with a firm, golden crust forming in the air fryer environment. The direct air circulation in the air fryer encourages even browning and a crusty finish without the need for an oven. This bread pairs well with butter, jams, or can be used for sandwiches.

This recipe is practical for those without an oven or who want small batch fresh bread. The rise time and cooking steps are straightforward, and the pan size is compact to fit well in an air fryer basket. Cooling the bread fully before slicing helps maintain structure and crumb texture.
