Instructions
- Trim the stem end off the Brussels sprouts and cut them in half. Remove any brown outer leaves. If you have huge ones, cut them in quarters.
- Put them in a mixing bowl and drizzle the sprouts with olive oil. Then sprinkle on the salt, pepper, and garlic powder and stir.
- Place them in the air fryer, spreading them out in the basket. Air fry at 380 degrees F for 5 minutes.
- Pull the basket out and shake it to redistribute the Brussels sprouts. Air fry for another 5-7 minutes until they are tender.
- Scoop the veggies into a bowl and drizzle with balsamic vinegar and maple syrup.
Notes
- If your Brussels sprouts are too large, the outside will char before the inside is tender. Cut them into quarters if they are larger than a cherry tomato.
- Shaking the basket partway through the cooking time helps ensure even cooking and that all-important, crispy finish.
- Switch up the seasoning if you like. Add a pinch of chili flakes for heat or a generous dusting of parmesan cheese.
