  • 14 oz 400g tin rinsed and drained and dried
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ cumin ground
  • salt
  • 8 corn tortillas small
  • Taco toppings
  • radish thinly sliced
  • avocado
  • cabbage shredded
  • cranberries
  • coconut yoghurt
  • lime

Instructions

  1. Pre heat air fryer to 390F / 200C.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. Add the chickpeas in to the air fryer basket.
  4. Cook for 12-15 mins turning half way through.
  5. Assemble tacos and top with coconut yoghurt and limes for squeezing.

Notes

  • Completely dry the drained chickpeas before seasoning to ensure they crisp up in the air fryer.
  • You can add 1-2 extra minutes of cooking for more crispness, but watch closely to avoid burning.
  • Feel free to vary the spices on the chickpeas according to your taste preferences.
  • Add sriracha or chipotle sauce for extra heat and flavor.
