Air Fryer Strawberry Apple Crumble

This air fryer strawberry apple crumble is easy and delicious. This apple and strawberry crumble comes together quickly, and it's so good.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 8 oz fresh strawberries halved
  • 4 large red apples diced
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • cup flaked almonds roasted
  • powdered sugar and vanilla ice cream

Crumble Topping

  • 1 cup almond meal
  • ¾ cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 tablespoon apple pie spice
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 6 tablespoons cold butter chopped finely

Instructions

  1. Get out and measure your ingredients.
  2. To make crumble topping place ingredients in a medium bowl.
  3. Add maple syrup and butter.
  4. Using fingertips, rub mixture together until it forms small clumps.
  5. Peel, core and coarsely chop apples.
  6. Halve strawberries and add to apples.
  7. Combine apples strawberries, vanilla, orange juice, maple syrup, in a large bowl.
  8. Preheat a 5 or 6 quart air fryer to 350 degrees for 5 minutes or hot. Grease 4 inch oven safe dishes and make sure they’ll all fit inside your air fryer.
  9. Divide fruit mixture amongst dishes and remember fruit will reduce as it cooks. Place inside basket inside air fryer so fill it up.
  10. Set temperature to 350 degrees and set timer for 10 minutes. Cook until fruit is almost tender.
  11. Top fruit with crumble topping.
  12. Until covered with with the topping.
  13. Cover dishes with foil.
  14. Place inside air fryer. Keep temperature set at 350 degrees and put timer at 10-15 minutes. Cook until fruit is tender and bubbling, and crumble is golden brown.
  15. Top crumble with flaked almonds and dust with powdered sugar.
  16. Serve with ice cream.
  17. Enjoy every bite!
