Air Fryer Subway Meatball Sub
Report
You will love an air fryer subway meatball sub. A lighter and a cheaper version than the typical meatball subs at subway and they taste amazing too.

Instructions
- Load your meatballs into the air fryer basket. Then air fry for 8 minutes at 180c/360f.
- Whilst the meatballs are air frying, load all the tomato sauce ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the tomato sauce into a shallow bowl and then add your meatballs. Mix with a spoon until well coated in tomato sauce.
- In the air fryer add the part baked bread rolls and slice in half length ways and then cook for 3 minutes at the same temperature.
- When the air fryer beeps, add 3 meatballs to each bread roll and then top with grated cheese.
- Air fry for a further 3 minutes at the same temperature or until the cheese has melted.
Notes
- Quantity. The ingredients above, made enough for 4 subway meatball subs. I then did a second batch of another 3 that was enough for our family size. You can do as few or as many as you want. Swaps. If you want homemade then check out my aunt Sheila’s party meatballs.
