Air Fryer Turkey Tenderloin
Description
The Air Fryer Turkey Tenderloin recipe calls for seasoning turkey tenderloins with a rub made from garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, paprika, sage, salt, and black pepper. The turkey is brushed with olive oil to help the seasoning adhere and promote browning. It is cooked in an air fryer at 350°F for 25 to 28 minutes, flipping halfway through, or roasted in a 375°F oven for 30 to 35 minutes until an internal temperature of 165°F is reached. Resting the meat after cooking helps keep juices inside.
The combination of dried herbs and spices provides aromatic, savory notes complementing the turkey’s mild flavor. Olive oil enhances the exterior texture and helps with even cooking. This method suits lean turkey tenderloin, which can dry out if overcooked, so monitoring temperature with a digital thermometer is recommended.
This turkey tenderloin works well sliced as a main dish with sides, or incorporated into sandwiches and salads. Using pre-seasoned turkey may require omitting added salt in the rub. Fresh herbs can replace dried, using a 3:1 fresh-to-dried ratio. The recipe suggests brushing or spraying the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.
Resting the cooked tenderloin before slicing improves tenderness and moisture retention. Cooking times may vary depending on air fryer model and size of the tenderloin.

- Remove the turkey from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes. Then, slice and serve .
OVEN INSTRUCTIONS:
- If you don't have an air fryer, you can make this dish in the oven. Simply roast the turkey tenderloin in the oven for 30-35 minutes at 375°F until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
Notes
- If you are using pre-seasoned turkey tenderloin, omit added salt in the seasoning mix.
- Fresh herbs can substitute dried herbs at a 3:1 ratio for milder, fresher flavor.
- Use a digital meat thermometer to ensure the turkey reaches 165°F and is safely cooked without drying out.
- Let the turkey rest several minutes after cooking to retain juices before slicing.
- Cook times may vary depending on air fryer brand and size of meat; adjust accordingly.
