Apple Bread
Description
Apple Bread features a batter made from sugar, milk, oil, egg, vanilla, flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Fresh peeled and diced apples are gently folded into the batter, providing sweetness and moisture. Baking in a loaf pan yields a soft, tender bread with a warm cinnamon spice throughout.
The glaze, made from powdered sugar, cinnamon, and heavy cream, adds a sweet, creamy topping that complements the apple and cinnamon well. It is drizzled over the cooled bread for added flavor and a lightly glossy finish.
This bread slices well for serving alongside tea or coffee, making it a pleasant choice for breakfast or an afternoon treat. The bread stores best in the refrigerator within an airtight container to maintain freshness.
Ensure to bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean, and allow the bread to cool before glazing. The glaze can be adjusted in thickness by adding more or less cream to suit preference.
