Ingredients
Burgers:
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- ½ tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1 green onion thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp fresh cilantro chopped
- ½ tbsp soy sauce
- ½ tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 lb ground turkey
Spicy Mayonnaise:
- ¼ cup of mayonnaise
- ½-1 tsp of sriracha sauce
- Zest and juice of 1/2 a lime
Other Ingredients:
- 4 hamburger buns, toasted
- Tomato slices
- mixed greens
- avocado slices
Instructions
- Make the turkey burger mixture by combining the garlic, ginger, green onions, cilantro, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, and sesame oil in a large bowl and stirring to combine.
- Add the ground turkey and gently mix it using your hands. Divide the mixture into 6 balls, then form each into a patty.
- Prepare the spicy mayonnaise by combining the mayonnaise, sriracha, lime zest, and lime juice in a bowl. Mix until well combined. Set aside.
- Cook the turkey burgers by heating a large skillet or grill pan coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat. Once hot, cook the burgers for about 4 minutes per side, or until they are cooked through.
- To serve, place the burger on the bottom toasted bun, slathered with some spicy mayonnaise. Top the burgers with more spicy mayo, tomatoes, mixed greens, and avocado, followed by top toasted bun.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy.
