Avocado Salad

This Avocado Salad combines creamy cubes of ripe Hass avocado with chopped tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, tossed in a zesty dressing of red wine vinegar, olive oil, and minced garlic. The salad is garnished with chopped parsley and freshly cracked black pepper, resulting in a fresh and flavorful dish that balances creamy, tangy, and herbal notes. Variations like adding basil or cilantro can tailor the salad to different flavor profiles.

Description

Avocado Salad features cubed avocado and tomato pieces mixed with mozzarella chunks or balls, brought together by a dressing of red wine vinegar whisked with salt, olive oil, and minced garlic. The dressing is carefully combined to meld the flavors before tossing with the fresh ingredients. Parsley adds an herbal brightness and black cracked pepper seasons the salad to taste.

The fresh textures of creamy avocado and juicy tomatoes alongside mild mozzarella create a pleasing mouthfeel, while the vinegar-based dressing adds a tangy lift to the overall flavor. This salad works well as a side dish or light lunch, especially when paired with grilled dishes or crisp breads.

There are options to substitute parsley with basil for an Italian touch or with cilantro for a more southwestern flavor, as well as incorporating sliced cucumbers or red onions for extra crunch and a kick. These variations provide flexibility to customize the salad to different preferences.
