Bacon Wrapped Roasted Pears with Goat Cheese and Honey

Bacon Wrapped Roasted Pears with Goat Cheese and Honey offer a savory-sweet appetizer blending roasted Bosc pears stuffed with creamy goat cheese and enveloped in crisped bacon. Honey drizzled on top and a sprinkle of sea salt enhance the contrasting flavors, while fresh rosemary provides a fragrant garnish.

Description

This recipe features halved and cored Bosc pears filled with rich goat cheese, each wrapped tightly in a slice of thick-cut bacon. The pears roast slowly in a 375°F oven, starting from cold to allow even cooking, until the bacon crisps and caramelizes. A quick finishing broil adds extra browning. The combination of tender roasted pear flesh, creamy tangy goat cheese, and smoky crisp bacon creates a balanced flavor and texture profile that is both luxurious and approachable.

Serving is simple: the pears are sprinkled with flaky sea salt and drizzled with honey, which adds a sticky sweetness that complements the savory elements. Fresh rosemary provides a herbal note and aroma, making these pears a distinctive finger food or starter for entertaining or special meals.
