Baked Asparagus with Parmesan

Baked Asparagus with Parmesan is a minimum effort, fast and delicious side dish. A 6-ingredient Garlic Parmesan Asparagus with crunchy breadcrumbs that is ready in less than 20 minutes and is perfect for holidays and lazy midweek dinners alike.

Ingredients
- 1 lb trimmed asparagus
- 1 tablespoon of Brazilian sofrito or minced garlic
- 3 tablespoons of freshly grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/4 cup homemade breadcrumbs or panko
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425F.
- Arrange the asparagus in a baking sheet and drizzle with just a little olive oil.
- In a bowl, mix the Brazilian sofrito, the parmesan, the breadcrumbs and the tablespoon of olive oil.
- Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture on top of the asparagus, and season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with a bit more parmesan cheese, if desired.
- Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Rotate the pan halfway through the bake.
