Baked Bacon Egg and Cheese Hawaiian Sliders
Description
This recipe constructs 16 small breakfast sliders using sweet Hawaiian rolls sliced as one sheet to keep the sliders together while baking. The bottom layer is spread with mayonnaise which adds moisture and richness, then topped with scrambled eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, and cooked bacon. The top piece of bread closes the sandwiches.
Melted butter brushed over the top before baking helps brown the rolls slightly and adds flavor. Baking covered initially steams the fillings gently, then a brief uncovered bake crisps the tops. The result is a batch of compact, soft buns with a warm, savory filling.
These sliders are appropriate for brunches, gatherings, or make-ahead breakfasts, offering easy portion control and handheld convenience. They pair well with fruit or simple breakfast sides.
