Ingredients

Servings
  • 4 cups cherry tomato
  • 2 cloves garlic sliced
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper ground
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 block feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon parsley for garnish, freshly chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Arrange cherry tomatoes in a baking dish and place a block of feta cheese in the center. Add sliced garlic, evenly sprinkle ground black pepper and Italian seasoning on top, and finally drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the tomatoes are slightly burst.
  4. Remove the baking dish from the oven and garnish with freshly chopped parsley on top. To serve, break the feta cheese with a fork and gently stir it together with the tomatoes.

Notes

  • Use ripe and juicy cherry tomatoes to maximize the natural sweetness and flavor of the dish.
  • Choose high-quality feta cheese for the best taste and texture.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste. Since feta cheese is already salty, you don't need to add extra salt to this recipe. However, feel free to add some herbs and other spices to enhance the flavor. If you'd like to add a spicy kick, sprinkle a pinch of crushed red pepper flake.
