Banana Bread Muffins
Description
This recipe blends sugar, vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract, then incorporates ripe mashed bananas and half the walnuts for texture. Dry ingredients including flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon are folded into the wet mixture, creating a thick batter. The batter is portioned into lined muffin tins, topped with remaining walnuts, and baked at 350°F for 20-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, indicating doneness.
The muffins develop a soft yet sturdy texture with a fragrant banana and cinnamon flavor profile. The walnuts contribute a pleasant crunch contrasting with the moist crumb. Baking individually ensures even cooking and convenient portion control.
They make a practical choice for packed lunches or quick morning options, with the advantage of being easy to prepare in batch form. The moderate sweetness and familiar flavors appeal widely.
