Barbecue Chicken French Bread Recipe
Description
The recipe starts by tossing cooked chicken cubes in barbecue sauce, which infuses the meat with a bold, smoky flavor. The French bread is halved lengthwise and lightly coated with extra barbecue sauce to add moisture and tang. A generous layer of mozzarella cheese is added, followed by the BBQ chicken, then broiled briefly until the cheese melts and bubbles.
After baking, the bread is garnished with fresh chopped cilantro and diced avocado to add brightness and creaminess. A drizzle of ranch dressing lends a cooling contrast to the tangy barbecue. Cut into slices, this assembly combines crisp bread, melted cheese, and flavorful toppings for a crowd-friendly dish.
This dish works well as a hearty snack, appetizer, or light meal. Its components are easily adjustable to suit preferences for more or less cheese and sauce, and it can be served warm for best texture and flavor.
