Beef Teriyaki
Description
The Beef Teriyaki recipe relies on a straightforward marinade including low sodium soy sauce, mirin, honey, minced garlic, and fresh ginger, which tenderizes and flavors the thinly sliced flank steak. The brief cooking time over medium-high heat ensures the meat remains juicy and just cooked through, preserving its tenderness. The glaze from the marinade caramelizes lightly during grilling, enhancing the meat's flavor and texture.
This dish offers a pleasant balance of sweet, salty, and aromatic notes from its simple marinade. It serves well with steamed rice or stir-fried vegetables, making it versatile for an everyday meal. The thin slicing against the grain helps achieve a tender bite and allows the marinade to penetrate effectively.
